Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, after a masked man entered a shop in North Clare and threatened a staff member with a knife.
At around 10 o’clock last Wednesday night, the man, who was wearing a black mask, entered the MACE shop in Inagh and tried to force staff member to hand over money, but he left the premises empty handed a short time later.
There are no reports of any injuries.
