All sittings of Kilrush District Court are being moved to Ennis Courthouse from Tuesday next week.
It’s the latest in a series of measures taken by the courts service, to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Only urgent matters are being dealt with by the courts locally, such as those that arise in the Criminal and Family Law areas.

People are again being reminded not to attend court unless advised by your solicitor.
Those who are unrepresented and are due to appear in court with regard to criminal/traffic matters, do not need to attend unless you have been expressly told to do so by the Gardai, and civil matters are being adjourned to later dates.
