Gardaí are advising residents to take extra steps to secure their heating oil this winter.
It follows the theft of agricultural diesel from a tank in a yard at Laghcloon, Lahinch, sometime between midnight last Monday and 7am that morning.
While home heating oil was taken from a tank behind a house at Clahane, Liscannor sometime between the 27th of November and December 2nd.
