Gardaí in Clare are urging residents to take extra steps to secure their home as restrictions are eased.
There has been a reduction in property crime over the past year, as more people stayed at home, but as restrictions begin to ease, people are expected to leave their home for longer periods over the coming months.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer is warning that criminals will be looking for easy opportunities and will target properties which look unoccupied and unsecure.
