A Garda investigation is underway into an armed robbery from a shop in Ennis.
Shortly after 6 o’clock last Thursday evening, a man wearing a hoodie entered a business premises in Clare Road Mall on the Clare Road.
The man, who was holding a knife, demanded money from the staff member and made his escape with a sum of cash in the direction of the Limerick Road.
