Gardaí carried out 41 searches in Clare last week, as part of efforts to prevent the sale or supply of drugs in the county.
The searches, which were carried out under the misuse of Drugs Act since last Monday resulted in one seizure of controlled substances, with eleven detections of simple possession.
There were two drivers arrested for drug driving offences.

Meanwhile, following a surveillance operation last Thursday evening, the Divisional Drugs Unit stopped and searched a car on the Gort Road in Ennis at around 6.45pm.
During the course of the search, they seized a large quantity of Cannabis Herb and a quantity of cash.
