Crawford Resigning From Council To Follow ‘Life-Long Ambition’ To Further Autism Research

Clare’s sole Green Party Councillor says she’s resigning in order to pursue opportunities to develop research around autism.

Miltown Malbay-based councillor Susan Crawford had been co-opted onto the council to replace her Inagh colleage Róisín Garvey when she was elected to the Seanad last year, but will resign her seat at the end of the month.

It means the Green Party will once again be required to co-opt a member to the vacant position.
