Property developer Kevin McGeever will appear in court today to face charges in connection with his alleged abduction.

The 68 year old – who vanished from his Craughwell mansion in June last year was found on a roadside in January – claimed he had been kidnapped by a gang and held hostage for eight months.
Last night, he was arrested in Dublin and taken to Gort Garda station where he was charged in connection with his alleged abduction.
He is due to appear before Strokestown District Court in Co. Roscommon at 10.30 this morning.
