Community representatives in Cratloe say they're disappointed at the loss of their local post office.

An Post has announced the service will close on March 31st next, and that it won’t re-advertise the contract for the facility.
Over 1,000 people in the village had signed a petition seeking to retain it, while a local action group had put forward a business proposal to An Post in the hopes of proving its viability.
PRO Jim Enright insists they’re not giving up hope.
