Cratloe Farmer Wins Big At Teagasc Awards

A Clare farmer has been crowned the country’s top grassland farmer.

Now in its sixth year, Teagasc’s ‘Grassland Farmer of the Year’ award recognises the top farmers in the country who are growing and utilising more grass on their farms in a sustainable manner.

The awards are supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, with an overall prize fund of €25,000.
