Covid-19 Testing Centres Close As New Public Health Advice Issued

Covid-19 testing for the vast majority of the population is no longer necessary from today.

New public health advice comes into effect today, with the HSE advising people that unless you’re in a high-risk group, you no longer need to test for the virus.

Community testing centres across the country also close their doors today, with the HSE saying that because of natural immunity and high rates of vaccine uptake, they’re no longer needed.
