The Minister For Foreign Affairs has held two separate meetings with the US Secretary of State and the US National Security advisor in Shannon.
Speaking following the meetings at the Midwest airport yesterday, Minister Simon Coveney has tweeted that it was “great to meet” Antony Blinkon on his way to the Middle East.
They had what’s been described as a “really constructive discussion” on EU/US relations, the Middle East Peace Process, the Iran Nuclear Deal & Belarus.
While Minister Coveney has said that he spoke to Jake Sullivan about EU/US relations, Cyber, bilateral relations & his family in Skibbereen.
