A man’s due in court later this morning in connection with the death of Thomas O’Gorman.
The 39 year old was found dead at his home at Beech Park Avenue in Castleknock in Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He’d suffered a number of stab wounds as well as other injuries.
A 34 year old man was arrested at the scene and is due to appear at Blanchardstown District court later.
Elsewhere, Gardai in Dublin have released two men they’d been questioning over the suspicious death of another man at the weekend.
29-year-old Vincent Maher was found in the bedroom of his apartment on the Wellmount Road in Finglas on Saturday morning.
It’s understood he suffered a violent death, however post mortem details haven’t been released.
Two men who were detained in connection with the investigation have now been released without charge, and Gardaí say a file’s being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
