A High Court judge has described a challenge to the Children’s referendum as urgent and has put the case in for hearing next Tuesday.

Mark McCrystal, an engineer from Kilbarrack, Dublin, claims the Government is distributing a booklet that is designed to influence the electorate in favour of a Yes vote in the November 10th referendum.
Lawyers for the State say they need until next week to gather material to justify their case.
