Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan is to face court over an alleged air rage incident at Shannon Airport last year.

The 43-year-old Limerick native was arrested last November was a passenger on an Aer Lingus flight which had flown into Shannon from New York.
She was taken to Shannon Garda Station, and later received medical treatment.
The DPP has now decided to prosecute Ms. O'Riordan for a number of alleged offences, and will appear before Ennis Ditrict Court at a date to be determined, likely within the next three months.
