The monthly meeting of Clare County Council has been postponed as a mark of respect to former Clare Mayor Colm Wiley.

The Fianna Fáil Councillor, who represented Bodyke and East Clare for 30 years, died almost a fortnight ago.

He also served as Mayor of Clare from 1993 to 1995.
