Counting is beginning this morning in Clare after yesterday’s historic vote on Ireland’s future abortion laws.
A strong turnout was reported in most areas around the Banner County across the day yesterday, with a good mix in ages turning up to the polling stations.

There was also said to be a strong turnout among younger people in particular.
