The countdown is on to Clare’s year as European Volunteering Capital for 2027.
The prestigious European title is awarded to just one location each year in recognition of outstanding, sustainable and community-led volunteering.

The launch event, taking place on the 24th of September at Treacy’s West County Hotel in Ennis, will outline the vision, objectives and activities planned for the year ahead.
Manager of Clare Volunteer Centre, Sharon Meaney, is inviting people throughout Clare to attend the event and learn more about the initiative.
