Councillors vow to generate further local employment

Clare’s local representatives have vowed to do more to create more jobs in the county.

The Council has completed a report on "Supporting Economic Recovery and Jobs Locally", though with Clare’s dole figures at 9,708 last month, calls have been made for a focus on developing existing tourism assets, or holding special workshops to boost job creation.
