Formal tributes have been paid to Clare’s longest serving Councillor, the late Pa Joe Burke.

The former Mullagh representative was remebered fondly at last night’s meeting of Clare County Council which was ajourned as a mark of respct for the man who sat in the council for 46 years between 1941 and 1999, and passed away last month.
