Nursing staff at Dooradoyle have reported what they say is chronic overcrowding at University Hospital on a regular basis this year.

Figures obtained by Clare FM show an 18% increase in the number of patients on trolleys in Dooradoyle in the first three months of 2014.

The statistics are taken from the INMO’s Trolleywatch, which records the number of patients on trolleys each weekday morning.
