Councillor Calls For Street To Develop Shannon Town Centre

Clare County Council is being accused of doing little to develop Shannon as a second town in this county.

Local councillor Gerry Flynn claims the town is lacking vibrancy and is calling for a proper street to be established to develop a town centre.

The council says it will consider any proposals for Shannon that are in line with their development plan, which was adopted in 2012 and highlights a streetscape as one option.
