Clare County Council is being urged to improve access to beaches along the county's coasts.

Barriers have been erected at the entrances of car parks for many beaches, including Kilkee, in a bid to ensure that they don't become occupied by high-sided vehicles.
However, this has also been off-putting for the likes of kayakers and divers who can find it impossible to bring their gear near to the beach as a result.
Clare FM has sought a response from Clare County Council.
