Clare County Council is to bring a bit of greenery to O’Connell Street in Ennis.
The Council has revealed plans to install a parklet on a pilot basis in the centre of the town.
The parklet will be installed in a parking space, and will offer a place to stop, sit and rest on the street.

It’s expected to be installed in early August, and more could follow if it is deemed to be successful.
Other measures which had already been revealed by Clare FM, including additional signage and retractable bollards, will also be installed next month.
