Council To Unveil “Landmark” Document For Rural Ireland

Clare County Council will today unveil what its CEO has called a ‘landmark’ document for rural parts of the county.

The 10-year Clare Rural Development Strategy targets the creation of 4,000 jobs over its lifetime, and will be launched in Kilmaley later by Minister For Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring.

The strategy aims to deliver jobs, multi-service centres, co-operating towns and parishes and a range of infrastructure including enhanced broadband.
