Council Tourism Officer Says Lough Derg Plan Will ‘Up The Game’ For Visitor Attractions

Clare County Council’s Tourism Officer says a new plan to elevate Lough Derg as a visitor attraction will ‘up the game’ for East Clare and surrounding areas as an attractive destination.

The Lough Derg Visitor Experience Plan sets out the overall approach to destination planning in the West for the next five years.

The plan aims to increase revenue from overseas visitors into the destination by 3 percent every year until 2024.
