Lower parking charges in Ennis have moved a step closer.
Councillors have unanimously backed calls for charges to be reduced from one-euro-thirty to one euro an hour, in a bid to attract more shoppers into the county town.

The changes won't be implemented just yet, however, but the Council executive has agreed to evaluate what the reduced income would mean for the local authority's coffers, and to try to incorporate the proposal into its 2016 budget.
