Clare County Council is to look at upgrading toilet and changing facilities at the county’s main coastal tourist spots.

It follows calls by Barefield Councillor Ann Norton who has expressed her disgust at the lack of facilities for people with disabilities in Doolin.
She believes below standard conditions at council owned amenity sites impacts negatively on the local community as well as on the tourism industry.
But Councillor Norton says she’s been given assurances that facilities complimenting Doolin Pier will be considered
