Council To Be Asked To Designate “Clothing Optional” Beaches

Clare County Council is to be asked to consider designating one of the county's beaches as "clothing optional."

The Irish Naturists Association is to approach the local authority with a view to convincing them of the merits of such a facillity, saying new laws pave the way for such a designation to occur.

The organisation's president says there's aleady a number of "unofficial" naturist beaches here, and insists the ideal location would be isolated.
