Clare County Council is calling on the Government to reverse its decision to reduce support to Group Water Schemes.

Government subsidies to support the schemes have dropped by up to 45 euro per house hold, in a change that has already taken effect.
There are 226 group water schemes here, serving thousands of homes, and most schemes are managed on a voluntary basis.
