Nationally the fund is to be increased by one and a quarter million euro, to combat an expected repeat of the freezing conditions.
On top of that The Transport Minister Leo Varadker has also announced that the department is purchasing 60 thousand tonnes of salt to be made available to councils on top of the NRA’s supply.
