Clare County Council says it has ample rock salt to treat the area's roads if winter conditions are average this year.

Extreme conditions are being forecast for December and January and the authority says in that case it would require a larger supply.
Their facility at Beechpark is stocked for the coming season and crews are on stand by.
Senior Enginneer Tom Tiernan says he's confident their preparations will stand them in good stead.
