Clare County Council is congratulating the organisers and fans who attended last weekend's Inis Fest music festival.

More than 3000 plastic bottles, juice cartons and drink cans were collected and sent for recycling during the music festival which attracted thousands of people to the Showgrounds.
Food waste generated on-site as well as hundreds of biodegradable cups were also collected for composting.
Clare Environmental Awareness Officer Karen Foley says the success of the programme is down to the exhibitors, locals and visitors to the town
