Clare County Council is offering its annual free Christmas tree collection over the next fortnight.
Those who have a real tree can recycle it at locations in Inagh, Kilkee, Scariff, Shannon and Ennis.

Discarding a tree in a public area could see an on-the-spot fine of 150 euro dished out.
The Greener Clare initiative runs until Saturday 21st of January.
