Council Of Europe Expected To Criticise Ireland’s Smacking Laws

The Council of Europe will issue its ruling on Ireland's laws governing smacking children today.

As it stands, parents can defend the use of physical chastisement against their children in court.

It's expected the Council will find against Ireland.
