Clare County Council has issued a warning over scam emails targeting the public.
It’s understood people have been receiving emails purporting to be from the local authority and demanding invoice payments.

People are being urged not to make payments or share personal information until requests have been verified.
The Council is also asking people to report suspicious emails.
