Clare County Council is urging anyone living in flood prone areas to remain vigilant over the coming days.
The local authority has issued a coastal flooding alert – however it says it doesn't envisage any major issues.

The risk is described as low at present, is the result of a combination of autumn equinox tides, strong winds, sea swells and low atmospheric pressure.
