Clare County Council says it is compliant with new rules governing road signs.

The new signs were announced for the smallest rural roads earlier this year, and see diagonal black lines on a white circle.
They replace the former 80 kilometres per hour signs because it was felt that this speed limit was actually setting a target in drivers' minds.
Only half of all Councils have erected the signs on time, but this HAS happened in Clare
