Council hopeful of better 2012 results for Miltown Beach

Clare County Council says it’s hopeful that water standards at White Strand Beach in Miltown Malbay will again comply with requires standards from next year.

The EPA’s annual Bathing Water Report for 2011 named the beach as one of two in Ireland which had a poor water quality status.
