Works to repair Kilkee's historic sea wall have hit a snag.

Remediation works began on the site in recent weeks, a year on from the February 2014 storm that wrought havoc there.
However a section of the road which had sunk as a result of the storms has now slipped even further.
The repairs had been expected to be completed by this May and Senior Engineer with Clare County Council Tom Tiernan says will now add to the cost of the project, and potentially lead to a delay as well.
