Council Encourages Visitors To Clare Beaches Not To Litter Over Bank Holiday Weekend

Clare County Council is encouraging visitors to Clare beaches not to litter over the bank holiday weekend.

It has been acknowledged that littering on beaches is more commonplace in hot weather with the incorrect disposal of cigarette butts identified as a particular concern.

Clare currently has nine Blue Flag and four Green Coast beaches – each one equipped with rubbish and recycling facilities.
