Council Criticised For ‘Threatening’ Letters

Clare County Council has been criticised in the Dáil for sending what has been described as ‘unnecessary’ and ‘threatening’ letters to some of the county’s farmers.

The claim has come from Labour’s Michael McNamara, who also says the number of tree-felling notices issued by the Council is ‘alarming.’
