Pat Hayes and a delegation from the county council has just returned from their five day sales pitch in New York where they met with key decision makers from leading firms across the globe.
There was criticism of the 12 thousand euro spent on the event but senior members of the local authority insist it was fully justified and fully believe the county will reap the benefits.
While they also warn it won’t be an overnight development, Clr Hayes feels that increasing visitor numbers is a very reachable target
