Clare County Council is urging the Department of Integration to contact families hosting Ukrainian refugees to determine if further supports are required.

It comes as a further 244 Beneficiaries Of Temporary Protection (BOTP’s) from Ukraine arrived here during December, bringing this county’s total to 5,368.

So far, 190 local households are hosting refugees from the war torn state under the offer a home scheme, for remuneration of €800 per month.
