Clare residents are being urged to continue efforts to conserve water, even though the heat wave is officially over.
Met Eireann has said temperatures will stay high this week, but there’ll be more cloud with the chance of thundery showers in many parts.
As a result of the hot weather, Clare County Council says some homes in the Sixmilebridge area have little or no water, and efforts to rectify this are on-going.
