Clare County Council has begun a review of its social housing waiting list.

The local authority has announced that it is writing to those who are seeking social housing support in Clare, requesting them to complete an assessment form on their housing needs.
It's part of a nationally-directed review.
There are just under 3,500 approved hosuing applications in Clare, but the Council says many of those aren't looking for Council housing, but rather money to supplement the cost of their private rentals.
The Council has set a deadline of Friday August 5th for people to respond with a completed form.
