Council Beefs Up Rubbish Bye-Laws

Clare residents living within 200 metres of a rubbish collection route are now obliged to avail of the service.

Clare County Council has enacted new byelaws to tackle illegal dumping, amid estimates that one million bags of waste are being disposed of in private lands and hedgerows across the county.
