Cost Of Renting In Clare Rises As Midwest Left Without Pressure Zone

The cost of renting a home in Clare is continuing to rise, as the Mid West has once again been left without a rent pressure zone.

Drogheda in Co. Louth and Greystones in Wicklow have been added to the list of areas where landlords can’t raise prices by any more than 4% a year.

The latest figures from the Residential Tenancies Board show the average price of renting a home in this county now stands at almost €595 – up more than €40 on the same time last year – with Shannon the most expensive area to rent.
