The CEO of the UL Hospital Group is warning that the actions of people this weekend could change the face of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Colette Cowan has said she is expecting a surge in coronavirus cases in the Midwest within the next fortnight, following an increase in the number of very sick patients attending the region’s main hospital in recent days.
It comes as a range of new facilities are being fast-tracked across the region, as Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill reports.
