Shannon Pharmacist Insists Sector Ready To Join In Administering COVID Vaccines

A Shannon pharmacist insists the sector is prepared to roll out COVID-19 vaccines to the community when it’s able to do so.

It comes as the Irish Pharmacy Union has expressed its frustration at the pace of the vaccine rollout, saying it’s delaying the reopening of both society and the economy.

They say despite continuing to hold discussions with the HSE, they are no clearer to knowing when they will be in a position to administer the jabs.
